This Chester project was planned to give the homeowners more room for their vehicles and belongings while preserving the appearance of their Cape-style home. They wanted an addition that felt connected to the house and made everyday access easier.
The 26' x 30' garage includes two bays for parking and upper-level storage for items that aren't needed every day. A side entry door provides another convenient way to access the building, while the interior connection allows the homeowners to move between the garage and house without going outside.
The garage's roofline and exterior finishes were selected with the existing home in mind. Cream siding and white trim create a cohesive look, and the dark gray roof provides a subtle contrast.
By combining parking, storage, and direct access, the addition makes better use of the property and gives the homeowners a practical space for changing needs.
